The Judiciary

what is the judiciary?

The Judiciary oversees student organization recognition and re-recognition, ensures that student organizations are adhering to their constitutions, and facilitates the student organization creation process. It is a seven-member body that is elected by the entire undergraduate student population. When student organizations are recognized, they gain access to apply for TCU funding, room reservation privileges, and more.

As a voting board, decisions made by the J are based on a vote by all members of the J present at a meeting. The Judiciary’s bylaws can be found here.

A list of all Tufts student organizations can be found on JumboLife.

An online version of the Tufts University Code of Conduct can be found on this page of the Student Life website.
